In 2013, Bianco Gelato opened its first store in Coconut Grove, Miami, with the purpose of providing the community with a healthier and more delicious product. Completing 10 years, this same community chose it, for the third time, as the Best Frozen Treat in Miami Dade Favorites 2023.
This award has been granted by the esteemed Miami Herald for several years. The goal is to engage consumers in celebrating local places, restaurants, and businesses that stand out throughout the year, as was the case with Bianco Gelato.
The selection is made through popular vote in two stages. In the first stage, the community suggests businesses in more than 240 categories. After selecting the candidates, it is once again open to popular vote. Bianco Gelato performed well in both stages, being highlighted early on and garnering the majority of votes in the Best Frozen Treat 2023 category..
Bianco Gelato brought the Italian tradition of a lighter ice cream to Miami. To make it even healthier, they use almond milk, coconut milk, and cashew milk in their vegan flavors. We started as a small family business, making gelato the old-fashioned way—without chemical or artificial ingredients. Additionally, we hold Kosher certifications and offer vegan and sugar-free options, using only natural sweeteners like erythritol and stevia leaves.
Ten years later, our essence remains the same because we believe that we are what we eat. Therefore, we always offer superior quality, healthy, and tasty products, along with excellent staff to provide the best service in our stores. All of this is recognized by the community that has embraced us and, year after year, has increasingly honored us and even awarded us.
